Hyundai Announces Apple CarPlay in 2016

Dec. 29, 2015—Hyundai announced on Monday that it will make Apple CarPlay available to Sonata owners in the first quarter, according to a report by USA Today.

In order to get the system, Hyundai owners will have to buy an SD card with new software.

"Hyundai and Apple are committed to delivering drivers the best possible experience while using CarPlay in their vehicles," according to a statement from Hyundai included in the report. "We are currently working together to complete CarPlay integration."
