TechSmart Adds 220 New Parts

Nov. 24, 2015

Nov. 24, 2015—Standard Motor Products Inc. announced the addition of 220 new part numbers to its TechSmart line. The release increases new coverage through 2015 for an additional 118 million VIO.

TechSmart expanded its electronic throttle body category by adding 50 new parts. In total, TechSmart’s line now features more than 130 direct-replacement units covering more than 65 million VIO. Other key category additions included 40 new sensors, 30 new variable valve timing components and 25 new HID headlight ballasts.

Examples of the new parts include a horizontal fuel conditioning module for Ford 6.0L diesel Power Stroke engines; a line of direct-replacement windshield wiper linkages for Hyundai and Kia; and an automatic transmission shift cover, which allows technicians to replace only the cracked or broken chrome piece instead of the entire park position indicator.

All new applications are listed in the eCatalog found at the TechSmart website.
