Jan. 12, 2016— Longtime industry consultant Mike Anderson, FenderBender columnist and owner of Collision Advice, will provide inspiration for shop owners as the keynote speaker for the 2016 FenderBender Management Conference.

In his keynote, “Choice, Chance, Change: Practicing the Three C’s to Grow Your Collision Repair Business,” Anderson will provide insight on how to succeed today and in the years ahead by making positive change in both your business and personal life.

“Do you choose to be the wind, the agent of change, or do you choose to be the flag, blown by circumstance? You alone are responsible for your success. You determine the outcome. You dictate your future. You choose your destiny. Success or failure—it is your choice,” says Anderson in his Three C’s seminar description.

In addition to his keynote, Anderson will also run a session on shop-insurer negotiations. He will share how to get paid for not-included operations, OEM vs. aftermarket parts, and other commonly disputed points.

“We are thrilled to have Mike on board as our keynote at this year’s FenderBender Management Conference,” said FenderBender Editor Jake Weyer. “Anyone who knows Mike understands the energy and wealth of knowledge he brings to shop operators each day to help them succeed. His passion for helping others is unmatched, making him the perfect person to kick off this event.”

Anderson has held a number of different roles in the collision repair industry, including shop owner and consultant, and has frequently been featured in FenderBender magazine. In January, he became the latest columnist for the magazine and he also was the subject of FenderBender’s premier episode of the CollisionCast podcast, in which he shared his hopes for the industry in 2016.

The FenderBender Management Conference, scheduled from Sept. 19-21 in Chicago, will include educational sessions, deep-dive workshops, panel and roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter. Conference sessions and speakers were inspired by the best FenderBender magazine content and the most pressing topics in the industry today.
