CCG Appoints Director of Business Development, Eastern Region

July 19, 2016

July 19, 2016—The Certified Collision Group (CCG) announced Monday that it has expanded its executive management team with the appointment of Bob Cornelius to director of business development for the eastern region.

"I look forward to bringing my experience to the organization and assisting in the mission to build a nationwide network of OE Certified repairers that are best prepared, long term, to partner with insurers.” Cornelius said. “Insurers have significant concerns around access to repair organizations and independent operators who have the necessary equipment, training and OE Certifications to properly repair claimant vehicles. I believe CCG is well positioned to grow and deliver value to the industry at large through a Proven Performance, OE Certified platform, that benefits our Affiliates, Insurer partners and their mutual customers.”

Cornelius has more than four decades of experience within the insurance claims industry. He has held management roles at Colonial Penn,The Hartford, Ameriprise and USAA.

"We believe Bob's extensive knowledge, relationships, and practical experience in designing, developing, deploying and managing national DRP programs - working side by side with quality repairers across the nation—will serve CCG well as we further develop our unique model across the U.S.," Bruce Bares, CEO and president of CCG, said. "Ongoing additions to our executive management team ensure CCG is on track to meet or exceed our stated 2016 goal of 130 DRP-centric, OE Certified repair facilities. Bob's addition clearly signifies that commitment to our Affiliates, Insurance and Vendor partners."
