Nov. 13, 2015—H&V Collision Center has partnered with State Farm Insurance to donate a vehicle to a community member in need, the company announced on Thursday.
The recipient is a single mother from Amsterdam, N.Y., whose son was diagnosed with Leukemia and an immune system deficiency disorder in 2014. A reliable vehicle will help her safely transport her son to the hospital.
“We are so pleased to be able to present this gift to a very deserving family,” said Vartan Jerian, Jr., owner of H&V Collision Center. “With three young children of my own, I cannot imagine the difficulties our recipient has faced while supporting her son’s battle with a life-threatening illness. H&V Collision Center is proud to give back to our local community and hopes that this new vehicle will make this family’s struggle just a little easier.”
The donation will be made at H&V Collision Center’s Saratoga Springs location at 2202 Route 50 S on Nov. 24 at 11 a.m.
Sponsors who helped make the donation possible include LKQ Corp, CCCOne ClaimsManagement Software, Axalta Performance Coatings, Dean Fox Auto Services, Norton/Saint-Gobain and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
