Louisiana AutoBody Express Facility Donates Cars to Veterans

Nov. 1, 2016

Nov. 1, 2016—A pair of veterans and their families were recently chosen to receive newly refurbished vehicles courtesy of AutoBody Express-Bossier City (Louisiana), as part of the national Recycled Rides program. The keys to a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country and a 2015 Chrysler 200 were presented to the veterans over the weekend.

The recipients included Airman First Class Morgan, an Air Force non-destructive inspections technician, and Air Force Airman Benchehda, a member of the security forces.

“We understand the need for reliable transportation. We’re excited to give these vehicles to two very worthy recipients,” said Staten Fontaine, owner-operator of AutoBody Express-Bossier. “We are honored to thank them for their service to our country.”

The Recycled Rides program is a nationwide community service project by the National Auto Body Council in which collision repair companies, insurers and rental car companies collaborate to refurbish vehicles for those in need.
