May 21, 2013—The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has released its online “Digital Aftermarket Factbook 2014” and the “Digital Aftermarket Factbook & Lang Annual 2014” publications.

This year’s content includes:
-A U.S. economic update by Dr. Timothy Nash of Northwood University
-An extended industry forecast through 2016
-An updated program and retail distribution summary by Advanstar
-A new state of the industry summary from Babcox Media

“AAIA makes every effort to exceed our members’ expectations in all areas, especially with these flagship market intelligence publications,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA CEO. “We continue to evolve our Factbook in response to our members’ needs, and strive to stay at the forefront of key industry trends and information. In addition to the new research material, our Factbook allows members immediate access to valuable data and online resources through live embedded hyperlinks. They can also download Excel-based files, charts, tables and graphs that can be easily copied and re-used in presentations and reports.”

Both publications also include key economic indicators, DIY consumer and vehicle demographics, replacement rates for vehicle parts and jobs, information on key aftermarket segments, analysis of growth by aftermarket segment, and forecast of key aftermarket trends.

AAIA members are eligible for a free copy of the publication, and copies are available for purchase for non-AAIA members.
