New Survey Highlights Collision Industry Trends

Sept. 6, 2013

Sept. 6, 2013—The Collision Repair Education Foundation and I-CAR have collaborated to provide an updated version of the Snapshot of the Collision Repair Industry survey, which is now available for download.

The survey, providing data on both the business environment and the technician workforce, provides unique insights on industry trends such as average age, incomes, entry-level worker task expectations, and more. Over 500 collision repair businesses responded to the survey, representing over 2,300 technicians.

“The information provided in the updated Snapshot Survey is valuable not only to high school and college technical school collision programs for recruitment and informational purposes, but also to current industry professionals as it displays a plethora of important data and trends,” said William Brower, chairman of the I-CAR International board of directors.

The updated survey is available at the Foundation’s website under “Recruiting Resources.”
