July 25, 2014—I-CAR has announced its OEM speaker lineup for the I-CAR Main Stage at the 2014 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference, held in Detroit July 30–Aug. 2.
The I-CAR Main Stage schedule includes:
Thursday, July 31
10 a.m. – Ford Motor Company: 2015 F-150 Collision Repair Program By: Gerry Bonanni, senior engineer for paint and body repair, and Larry Coan, damageability product concern engineer
Noon – I-CAR: Vehicle Technology Trends and Collision Repair Considerations By: Jason Bartanen, director at Industry Technical Relations
2 p.m. – American Honda Motor Co.: Honda and Acura High-Strength Steel Repair Guidelines By: Dean Gay, service information analyst
4 p.m. – BMW: BMWi—Carbon Fiber and Aluminum Structure Design and Repair By: Toby Moser, body and paint curriculum developer and instructor
Friday, Aug. 1
11 a.m. – BMW: BMWi—Carbon Fiber and Aluminum Structure Design and Repair By: Toby Moser, body and paint curriculum developer and instructor
2 p.m. – General Motors: General Motors-Corvette Stingray Aluminum Repair and Heavy Duty Truck Frame Repair By: Randy Boyd, global service engineering team leader for body structures & closures

I-CAR will also show vehicle and parts displays from the 2015 Ford F-150, Chrysler, General Motors, BMW and Honda on its stage. Additional live demonstrations will be held in the nearby I-CAR Demo Zone, where attendees can learn about techniques in riveting and bonding, MIG welding, MIG brazing, spot welding, aluminum and MIG welding, ABARIS carbon fiber repair
