NSF certifies all Diamond Standard steel front bumpers

Feb. 10, 2011

Feb. 10, 2011 — Diamond Standard is the first U.S. aftermarket parts manufacturer to achieve NSF International certification across its entire line of steel front bumpers, the company recently announced.

Before issuing certifications, NSF evaluates parts for quality, performance, form, fit and function. NSF also inspects the production facility’s quality systems. So far, NSF has certified 571 Diamond Standard parts and applications, said Geoff Crane, business development manager for the parts company.

Diamond Standard also reported that all 280 of its rear-step bumper assemblies have met federal tow standards, based on tests from MGA Research Corporation, and its steel and aluminum hoods are CAPA certified.

Diamond Standard President Mike O’Neal said the company is committed to producing the safest parts available using correct materials, tool building, and manufacturing and metal finishing processes. It builds parts to OE standards, replicating safety and crashworthiness.
