Nebraska to offer electronic collision reports online

July 27, 2011

July 27, 2011—The state of Nebraska recently launched a new service, BuyCrash.com, to make it easier for motorists to obtain copies of vehicle collision reports.

Through BuyCrash.com, individuals can locate, view and purchase copies of vehicle collision reports from their homes. Collision reports submitted by local police departments, sheriffs' departments and state police are available on the website for immediate printing through a secure Internet connection.

"We're excited about providing this service to the citizens of Nebraska," said John Jacobsen deputy director of operations for the Nebraska Department of Roads. "BuyCrash.com is a revolutionary approach to making collision reports available to the public online."

In addition to Nebraska, collision reports in Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky are also available at BuyCrash.com.
