OEConnection collaborates with Multi Service

April 27, 2011

April 27, 2011 — Online parts and service exchange company OEConnection on Tuesday announced a partnership with Multi Service, a transaction management company specializing in billing and payment systems.

The companies’ goal is to improve and simplify the transaction process for automakers, dealerships and their fleet customers. The relationship should eliminate paperwork and administrative burdens associated with managing receivables and allow fleet customers to open an account that gives drivers access to any participating U.S. dealership. They will also have access to detailed spending reports.

“By offering maximum convenience and simplicity, automakers and dealerships have an opportunity to attract new business and build on customer loyalty,” said Charles Rotuno, president and CEO of OEConnection. “We are pleased with the opportunity to partner with Multi Service; they have an outstanding reputation for providing specialized billing and payment services, which complements our expertise in automotive parts and service solutions.”

General Motors was the first manufacturer to contract with OEConnection and Multi Service for the new offering. It will be available to GM dealerships and their fleet customers nationwide this year.
