Wesco Group, a major paint, body, and equipment (PBE) distributor in the U.S. and Canada, has announced the acquisition of Auto Color & Equipment, according to a news release.

Auto Color & Equipment, a Missouri-based company that has been in operation since 1987, is the latest addition to the Wesco team. The company has been under the leadership of Wayne and Denise Edwards since 1992, who have been instrumental in its growth and success over the years.

Lloyd White, CEO of Wesco Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition. "We welcome Auto Color & Equipment to the team. We believe they are a great fit with our team. This acquisition aligns with our growth strategy and reinforces our dedication to delivering excellence to our customers," said White.

The Wesco Group, which includes Wesco, Color Compass, Kemperle, and English Color, is one of the largest privately held PBE distributors in North America. The group services customers from 221 stores, 19 distribution centers, 14 equipment divisions, and 12 training centers.

The acquisition of Auto Color & Equipment is expected to strengthen Wesco Group's position in the market and enhance its ability to serve customers across the region.
