Respected industry veteran and ASA member Mitch Schneider will lead a discussion on the difference between involvement and commitment and the ways associations will have to change to meet and exceed the needs of a constantly changing marketplace and repair community. Titled “Involvement & Commitment: The Difference the Difference Makes,” the summit will help attendees gain a better understanding of the importance of networking and the ability to interact with industry leaders both inside and outside their own community.
“We received great feedback from the first Association Leadership Summit, which paved the way for similar events in the future,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. “Our commitment to the industry is ongoing and the summit is one way in which all those who support our industry in similar ways can benefit.”
The inaugural Association Leadership Summit sponsored by ASA was held in conjunction with Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) last October and addressed association best practices. ASRW includes the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) and will be held this year in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 5-8.
