Bartec asks: Are you a 'Cub Fan'?

Program tire pressure monitoring system sensors with the same Tech500 tool that performs vehicle diagnostics, test before you touch and the all-important relearn step.
Bartec tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tools were the very first to feature “at the car” programming of aftermarket TPMS replacement sensors.
"It’s that kind of continued market leadership that helps bring about another industry first: programming 'Cub Style' aftermarket sensors with the Tech500 tool," notes Bartec CEO Scot Holloway.
Until now, programming the “Cub Style” aftermarket TPMS Sensors meant a special [and separate] programming device. With this latest development from Bartec, you can program these sensors with the same tool that performs vehicle diagnostics, test before you touch and the all-important relearn step! Integrating sensor programming with the diagnostic and relearn steps makes the process faster and accurate.
“Our TPMS tools have always offered our customers the greatest diagnostics and flexibility, and with this new feature, the best gets even better,” says Bartec Product Manager Michael Rose. The Tech500 also programs the EZ-SensorTM, Sens.itTM and IntelisensTM sensors.
Branded Cub programmable sensors from 31 Inc. [Smart SensorTM], Dorman [Multi-fitTM], ITM [Uni-SensorTM] and Pilot have been in the market for a while.  All that’s required to program these sensors with the Tech500 is the R51 update and the specially designed Programming Fixture [purchased separately from a Bartec distributor]. The Cub Programming Fixture is easily attached to the accessory port on the Tech500, and because of the unique “process driven menu system” it is easy and intuitive to operate.
“An added benefit of programming sensors with the same tool that completes the TPMS relearn, you can test the sensor prior to installation,” Rose points out.
