Expending its line of tire service tools, OTC has introduced pre-set torque wrenches, a sliding bead breaker and a tire spoon grip groove series to make the task of changing and mounting tires easier and faster for technicians.

Pre-set torque wrenches, P/N 5776, eliminate the risk of damage done by using a pneumatic impact wrench to tighten lug nuts. Damage can include warped rotors, premature brake pad wear and wobbling when braking or driving. Five pre-set wrenches are available in 65, 80, 100, 120 and 140 lb-ft and conform to OE specifications to provide technicians an accurate torque setting when servicing a vehicle. Wrenches feature ½” drive with a quick-release head and a durable satin finish.

OTC’s sliding bead breaker, P/N 5727, features a split head design to provide a wider force area while reducing bead friction to break a tire’s bead faster and with less effort. A unique wedge design, wheel tipping slots and foot loops help add extra pressure and a consistent and accurate impact angle.

Expanding and updating its tire spoon line, the grip groove series by OTC allows the spoon to better grip a wheel to prevent slipping when mounting or de-mounting tires. The grooves also limit the spoon from pinching tire tubes and feature a convex head design, tire bump and handle knob. The spoons can make the job of changing tires faster and more efficient for technicians. Part numbers are:

-        5716G HD sliding tire spoon, 5736-18G  18”curved tire spoon, 5735-35G 35” double end tire spoon, 5736-24G 24” curved tire spoon, 5734-18G 18” double end tire machine spoon and 5735-18G 18” double end tire spoon, all with grip grooves

The entire line of OTC wheel service tools is available now through OTC’s traditional distribution methods. For more information on OTC Tools, visit www.OTCTools.com
