DealerTrack to present best practices at Digital Dealer Conference

DealerTrack Holdings, Inc., a provider of on-demand software and data solutions for the U.S. automotive retail industry, reports that its management team will be presenting four best practice sessions at the 7th Annual Digital Dealer Conference next week in Nashville, Tenn.

The sessions will focus on helping dealers boost vehicle sales and profitability while complying with state and federal regulations.

The following sessions will be led by DealerTrack executives:

• Nov. 1, 2:30 – 3:45 PM: Compliance and Your Online Marketing Strategy. Randy Henrick, associate general counsel at DealerTrack, will showcase best practices on how to create or customize a program to minimize compliance and identity theft risks when taking both online and in-store credit applications, and review the requirements of the FTC’s Red Flags Rule.

• Nov. 2, 2:30 – 3:45 PM: The Secrets to Driving Used Car Profits. Doug Hadden, strategic sales and optimization manager, DealerTrack Inventory Optimization, will demonstrate how dealers can utilize key data points to make smarter decisions when managing their inventory – including identifying their “core” inventory, where to acquire vehicles and how to price them to sell.

• Nov. 2, 4:00 – 5:15 PM: Get Ahead and Stay Ahead with a Web Site Strategy. Brian Rabold, senior Internet product marketing strategist at Chrome Systems, will review the results of an extensive consumer survey on vehicle purchasing and leasing, and provide insights into how today’s successful dealerships attract web traffic and drive sales by enhancing their web content.

• Nov. 3, 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM: Using SaaS Technology to Minimize Dealership Costs. Richard Holland, vice president and general manager of the DealerTrack DMS, will educate attendees on the benefits of using Software as a Service (SaaS) technology to dramatically reduce software and technology costs while creating efficiencies across their dealership.
