Toyota Motor Manufacturing is sharing some of its trade secrets used to recruit, select and retain employees at “Building a World-Class Workforce the Toyota Way: A Look Inside the Toyota Culture.”

The complimentary breakfast presentation and business roundtable discussion is co-sponsored by Select International and ADP. The event will be held on July 31 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

The k eynote speaker for the presentation is Mike Hoseus, former Toyota corporate leader and co-author of The Toyota Culture: The Heart and Soul of the Toyota Way. Hoseus’ book and the roundtable discussion will provide valuable insight to HR directors and managers seeking to improve their recruitment, hiring and retention practices. Items shared include:

• The Quality People Value Stream Model, illustrating the importance of selecting the right people.

• How to develop a successful talent acquisition strategy to meet long-term talent needs while managing periodic demands.

• Toyota’s approach to a people-centric culture and its results in innovation, profitability, and excellence.

• How to assess, acquire, and manage the best and brightest workforce to provide a sustainable competitive advantage.

Attendees will also learn how Select International partnered with Toyota to undertake successful large-scale recruitment and hiring projects for the automaker’s plants. Following the presentation by Hoseus, representatives from both Select International and ADP will join Hoseus for a roundtable discussion that will include a Q&A session with attendees.
