Lou Berman, VP Sales for Collision Care Auto Body Centers is proud to announce Collision Care’s ‘Light it up Blue” campaign for Louie’s Voice. Louie’s Voice is a registered 501c3 non-profit created to benefit and improve the lives of those afflicted by and with Autism.
All six Collision Care Auto Body Centers will have exterior lights changed to blue for the month of April. Various car dealerships and parts partners of Collision Care are joining in on this awareness effort, as well as the famous Penrose Diner of Philadelphia.
According to the latest CDC findings, Autism now affects 1 out of 64 children and their families. Autism cases are most prevalent right here in our own back yard in New Jersey. Autism currently is the least funded for all pediatric afflictions and affects more children than cancer, MS, MD, Cystic Fibrosis, Leukemia combined.
Berman started Louie’s Voice in 2011, as a single father to his son and namesake of the organization, Louie Jr. Fighting his way back to the working world, getting off of welfare and advocating for his son vs. school districts, doctors and care providers, Berman and his non-profit Louie’s Voice, with the help of main sponsor Collision Care Auto Body Centers, has raised and given away thousands of dollars over the past few years to needy deserving families struggling with the day to day challenges of Autism.
