CCC ONE Touch gets new estimating, workflow enhancements

Aug. 1, 2014
CCC ONE Touch, designed for mobility in the shop, now features an intuitive production dashboard and new efficiencies to build estimate and repair process speed.

Auto repairers don’t stand still so the technology they use needs to move with them - wherever they go. CCC ONE® Touch, the collision repair industry’s first estimating and repair management tool built from the ground up for a tablet device, was designed for mobility, and beginning today is delivering even more of what auto repairers need when they’re on the shop floor or greeting a potential a customer in the parking lot.

“Using the Touch app allows us to give the customer a more personal experience, keep the customer engaged in the estimating process, and increases our capture ratio,” said Brian Huntley, Sandoval Buick GMC in Columbus, OH.

CCC ONE Touch is free to auto repair users of CCC ONE® Repair Workflow or CCC ONE® Estimating with Digital Imaging enabled. New enhancements include:

An intuitive production dashboard that shows auto repairers not only where the vehicle is, but where it should be, in the repair process. Applying user-defined repair plans, each phase of the repair process is customized to match the desired flow of work. The production dashboard combines all of a shop’s repair plans into a simple view that shows jobs on track and jobs falling behind, providing technicians with visibility and direction on how to manage and adjust workloads to accommodate changing schedules.

The ability to make changes to repair plans right at the vehicle.

The ability to add and edit events from the CCC ONE Estimating event log so users can enter repair milestones at the vehicle and as they are occurring, making sure changes get made quickly.

The ability to visually identify substrate materials in part graphics which allows users to create more accurate estimates and reduce supplements.

“Regardless of the business you’re in, consumers expect professionals to use technology to make things run smoother, faster and more efficiently,” said Joseph Allen, GM, CCC’s Automotive Services Group. “CCC ONE Touch puts the latest technology into the hands of repairers, changing the way they write estimates and manage their business. As of today, more than $100M estimates are processed using CCC ONE Touch each month. We’re thrilled customers have embraced CCC ONE Touch so quickly and enthusiastically, and are using the solution to help them manage repairs more efficiently and capture more work.”
