WIN scholarship program accepting applicants for 2015

Women’s Industry Network (WIN®) is committed to financially supporting females who demonstrate their desire to excel in the field of Collision Repair. As such, applications for the 2015 scholarship program will be accepted from October 22, 2014 through January 15, 2015.  WIN offers scholarships that will provide tuition assistance as well as educational opportunities and enrichment events to qualified applicants. The program for 2015 includes:

The College Student Tuition and Conference Scholarship Award, presented to students enrolled in a post-secondary collision repair technology program. Each scholarship recipient will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship to continue their post-secondary education in collision repair, a one-year WIN Membership, plus registration fee and travel expenses to attend the 2015 WIN Educational Conference being held May 4-6 at the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott, Baltimore, MD.

The High School Tuition Scholarship Award, presented to students enrolled in a secondary collision repair technology program who plan to continue their education at a technical school or college. Each scholarship winner will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship to continue their post- secondary education in collision repair and a one-year WIN membership.

All scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to be mentored by a 2015 recipient of the Most Influential Women (MIW) award, being presented at the 2015 Educational Conference May 4-6, in Baltimore, MD.

“WIN is committed to supporting and nurturing young women within the collision industry with our scholarship program,” stated Beverly Rook-Twibell, Strategic Account Manager at Safelite and Chair of the Scholarship Committee.   “We are dedicated not only to supporting these young women with scholarship monies but also to stay involved with them through their education and careers.  We take great pride in our Scholarship Program and plan to expand the program over the next several years.”
