Kadel’s Auto Body donated turkeys to local charities in the Portland, Ore. area to feed families on Thanksgiving. Through Kadel’s gift of giving, nearly 160 needy families in the communities Kadel’s serves will be enjoying a beautiful turkey on the center of their Thanksgiving tables.

This year Kadel’s managers and employees provided turkeys to Southlake North Portland Church & St. Johns Covenant Church, Salvation Army Hillsboro, Idaho Food Bank, Salvation Army for Marion and Polk Counties and SnowCap Charities in Gresham. Kadel’s made cash donations in lieu of turkeys to the Salvation Army in Eugene, Salvation Army Springfield, Candle Lighters Eugene, Clark County Food Bank, SnowCap Winter Food Drive and St. Vincent DePaul in Tigard, Ore.

“The employees and owners of Kadel’s Auto Body live and work in these communities. When our neighbors have fallen on hard times, we are grateful that we can help,” said Don Braden, President and CEO of Kadel’s Auto Body. Herman Greene, Senior Pastor of Southlake North Portland Church said, “we are so grateful for what you have done. Our goal was to serve 200 families this Thanksgiving season and you just helped to make that vision more of a reality for 20 additional families.”

Thanks to the network of 1,000’s of volunteers through various local charities and food banks, more children go to bed with full stomachs, seniors are not forced to choose between heating or eating and families can gather around a dinner table to share a meal. Local charitable organizations do so much to service our impoverished friends and neighbors. Kadel’s Auto Body appreciates local charities who create an opportunity for companies to help make a difference in our community.

Headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, Kadel’s Auto Body was founded in 1954. Kadel’s is the region’s largest provider of auto body repair, and the sixth largest independently owned auto body collision repair provider in the U.S. Since opening the first shop in Tigard, the company has expanded to 23 locations throughout the Pacific Northwest including Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Kadel’s maintains a superior reputation for quality collision repair and customer service in the communities it serves. For more information go to www.kadels.com.
