The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ)’s NORTHEAST 2016 Automotive Services Show has sold out exhibitor space for the earliest time in the show’s nearly four-decade history. After making an already impressive expansion of 50 additional booths at last year’s installment, 2016 has proven that NORTHEAST shows no sign of slowing down. Taking place March 18-20 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ, organizers expect this year’s show to set a new pace for the event.

“We are floored by the speed with which we sold out the show floor this year,” says AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “Last year, we toyed around with the fact that we would soon have to expand the show floor to the lower level of the Meadowlands Exposition Center, but I don’t think any of us realized just how soon that growth may have to happen. We have to squeeze exhibitors into every inch of the show just to make sure that everyone gets a piece of the action this year.”

With a remarkable educational slate to match the progress reflected in every aspect of NORTHEAST 2016, exhibitor registration is not the only thing filling up at a record pace.

“It’s obvious that our floor sold out so quickly this year in large part because the exhibitors have seen how attendee foot traffic has increased each year,” McDowell explains. “Our free pre-registration [available at tinyurl.com/NE16reg] almost has smoke coming out of it for how quickly people are signing up. It’s no wonder why – we’re providing the market with knowledge on everything a repairer in this day and age needs to stay ahead. In addition to all of the product and equipment information that our vendors bring to Secaucus, we’ve got seminars on OEM certification programs, advanced materials repair, job costing, the Variable Rate Survey, photo estimating and much, much more.”
