General Motors announced its new GM Genuine Parts website that contains a wealth of information specific to the aftermarket industry. 

The new website, www.genuinegmparts.com, contains a variety of exclusive information that is dedicated to the aftermarket segment and provides specific information about GM programs, technical information and repair documents. 

“We also provide position statements, technical documents on GM repairs to support the industry and technicians in the repairing of Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles,” said Robert E. Wheeler, communications manager, General Motors Fleet, Customer Care & Aftersales. “We encourage you to go to www.genuinegmparts.com and take a look for yourself.”

In addition, the new parts website provides these consumer highlights:

• educates consumers on the reasons why they should request and purchase Genuine GM Parts for their vehicles;

• offers tools to help consumers with their vehicle including touch-up paint look up, VIN information and warranty;
