On April 12, 2013, Marco’s Collision Centers became a Mercedes ELITE Certified Collision Center at their Pasadena location. This distinct certification is required to repair Aluminum Structural Repair on Mercedes SLS and SL models as well as future Mercedes C and E Class.

There are only 8 ELITE shops in the US.  Marco’s is one of the only 2 in California.   Only Elite certified shops will be allowed to repair these cars and purchase structural parts, and requires recertification every 6 months with additional training at the Mercedes Training Facility in Germany.  Bryan Wendt, Vice President of Operations and Development of Marco’s Collision Centers oversaw the certification education and process.

Marco and his team have won several national awards for being such a quality driven company. More recently, in February 2013, VeriFacts Automotive presented Marco with its distinguished ACE “Commitment to Consumers” award, which recognized Marco’s Collision Centers for extraordinary efforts for the safety of the consumer by consistently delivering quality repair to ensuring all repairs are done according to manufacturer’s repair guidelines.  Marco’s was the first collision repair company to receive this award.

Marco's also recently promoted four of their top management team to Vice President levels. Together they have given over 20 years of their career for the company’s successful growth. Due to the vast changes in the industry, operating a collision repair company requires advanced skills and more responsibilities.

"Our team has transformed their profession significantly to lead the company through the tough times and the quick turnaround we are currently experiencing. Marco’s greatly appreciates their dedication and is confident they will successful continue the future development of Marco’s Collision Centers,” quoted by CEO Lillian Maimone.

Elaine Niederhaus was promoted from Senior Operations Director to Vice President of Administration and Compliance Operations.  Elaine has been with Marcos for 29 years.

Kristin Nelson was promoted from Human Resource Director to Vice President Human Resources and Compliance.  Kristin has been Marco’s for 27 years.

George Rodriguez was promoted from General Manager to Vice President of San Gabriel; the “mother ship” producer.  George has been with Marco’s for 27 years.

Bryan Wendt was promoted from Operations and Development Manager to Vice President of Operations and Development.  Bryan has been with Marco’s for 18 years.

Marco’s Collision Centers was founded by Marco Maimone in 1972. Today, Marco’s Collision Centers repairs over 8,000 cars per year in seven (7) locations and two (2) concierge locations in Southern California.  After 41 years, Marco’s is still a family owned business with the same unyielding commitment to quality and service.  Their vision statement to “do it once, right, the first time” is embraced by everyone in the company.
