Maaco Penndel, is hosting its fourth annual food and toy drive in support of Bucks County Housing Group, this holiday season.
As food banks across North America continue to experience a strain on their supplies, this contribution helps Bucks County Housing Group provide crucial items needed for Penndel’s most vulnerable. Residents from Penndel and the surrounding area are encouraged to bring their contributions to Maaco Penndel at 1841 W. Lincoln Hwy, Penndel, PA.
“Let’s take the opportunity to celebrate the season by giving back to our community by providing food and toys to those less fortunate in our neighborhood,” says Thomas Andrews, Owner, Maaco Penndel. “It’s the least we can do this or any year, and we’re happy to do what we can.”
Acceptable items the Bucks County Housing Group will take include:
- Non-perishable food items
- Toiletries such as shampoo, soap, and toothpaste
- Toys for children
“Every year we aim to provide enough food for over 150 families, and we have been able to do it thanks to the continued support of our amazing Penndel community,” continues Andrews. “We are taking donations until December 18 this year and we hope to exceed last year’s goal.”
