ASE appoints vice president of marketing

Sept. 13, 2011—The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) on Monday announced Leigh Wilson was named vice president of marketing for the organization.

Wilson’s position will be effective Oct. 3. She will be based at the ASE corporate headquarters in Leesburg, Va.

Wilson brings 24 years of marketing experience to the ASE organization. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA in marketing from Johns Hopkins University.

“Leigh rose to the top of a list of outstanding candidates and we are delighted to have her as part of the team,” said Tim Zilke, president and CEO of ASE. “Her background and experience in customer relationship management, branding, analytics and promotions, along with her thorough understanding of segmentation and databases, brings a new dimension to ASE’s marketing efforts.”

The vice president of marketing title is a new position for ASE. It was created as part of ASE’s commitment to integrate enhanced marketing throughout its entire family of organizations, according to ASE.

“We believe this effort is vital to remain responsive to the rapidly-changing environments we all face in today’s business climate, and we welcome Leigh to the ASE team,” Zilke said.
