Garmat extends contest deadline for trip to SEMA

Sept. 6, 2012

Sept. 6, 2012—Garmat USA has extended the deadline to enter its Garmat Sharp Shooter Contest through Sept. 28.

Garmat’s Sharp Shooter contest is meant to recognize paint technicians and shop owners who use the company’s equipment. The contest allows collision shop professionals to discuss their use of Garmat products through video and written statements.

Garmat said judging of contest submissions will be based on the shop owner’s and paint technician’s dedication to providing quality paint jobs, superior customer service, attention to safety and overall equipment knowledge.

The first 100 entrants will receive a Garmat Sharp Shooter cap, and 10 finalists will be awarded with a leather jacket. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, including airfare, lodging, entrance fees and $500 in spending cash.

"At tradeshows and site visits paint techs are always telling me how they prefer Garmat paint spray booths, so this is their chance to tell us why,” said Johan Huwaert, general manager of Garmat USA. "This contest allows us to open channels of communication with the techs so they can give us feedback on what they would like to see in a paint booth."
