Aug. 19, 2014—GARMAT USA, a paint equipment manufacturer, will hold its Garmat Sharp Shooter contest for shop owners and paint technicians, the company announced Monday.
Back for a fourth year, the contest will run from Aug. 14 through Oct. 10, and it aims to recognize shop owners and paint technicians who use Garmat equipment.
"The talent that we have seen from this contest just continues to amaze everyone within the Garmat organization," says Johan Huwaert, Garmat USA's general manager. "The shop owners appreciate the contest, too, as it provides the added benefit of validating their commitment to quality by showcasing their choice of equipment and capabilities of their technicians."
To enter, shop owners or technicians tell their “Garmat story” via video or by writing it out and sending it to the company. Garmat will choose winners based on the shop’s dedication to providing quality paint jobs, customer service, attention to safety precautions, and overall equipment knowledge.
The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to the 2014 SEMA show held Nov. 4–7 in Las Vegas and a SATAjet 4000B Camouflage Limited Edition Paint Gun.
Five finalists will be awarded two Samsung Galaxy Wi-Fi tablets each—one for the contestant and one for the owner or manager.
