Texas Auto Body Trade Show slated for Aug. 25-26

The Texas Auto Body Trade Show is an annual two-day trade event hosted by the Auto Body Association of Texas (ABAT), which has as its mission to "foster the success of all levels of the automotive repair industry across Texas and the Southwest region."

The 2023 event will be held at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, Aug. 25-26. A total of 14 educational seminars are offered. Individual seminar tickets are available at $49 each, or attendees can attend as many sessions as they'd like for $199 for the weekend. Admission is free to the trade show, which last year sold out with 50 exhibitors. A car show will be held Saturday in the loading dock area. The "Big Shot Competition" for painters, estimators, and body technicians, with thousands of dollars in prizes, will be held Saturday, and live demonstrations will be held all weekend at the trade show.
