NABC to donate five Recycled Rides vehicles at NACE

Oct. 6, 2011

Orlando, Fla., Oct. 6, 2011—The National Auto Body Council (NABC) on Wednesday announced it will donate a vehicle to five Florida families through its Recycled Rides program during the 2011 NACE Expo in Orlando, Fla.

NABC will donate the vehicles during a special presentation Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Orlando Convention Center, according to the NABC.

Three insurance companies donated the vehicles that will be gifted to families through this year’s Recycled Rides program: Esurance, Allstate and State Farm. The collision repair facilities that refurbished the vehicles include: Sterling Autobody Centers, Sunbeam Auto Body and Automotive Resurrection CARSTAR, according to the NABC.

“The five families being gifted vehicles in Orlando are just a fraction of the 150 families who will receive the gift of reliable transportation from Recycled Rides this year,” said Nick Notte, co‐chair of Recycled Rides and president of Sterling Autobody Centers. “That’s 150 families who will receive the opportunity make better lives for themselves through the intra‐industry efforts of the program. I am grateful to be part of a project that clearly illustrates the giving nature of NABC members and the collision repair industry in general.”
