Caliber expands in San Antonio

July 10, 2012—Caliber Collision Centers has acquired the Boerne Mercedes body shop based in Boerne, Texas, near San Antonio.

Caliber said the new 18,000-square-foot facility marks its 11th collision repair center in the San Antonio market. The shop officially opened Monday.

“The addition of this new center improves Caliber Collision capacity across the San Antonio market as we continue to provide our insurance clients the customer focus, operational consistency and cost management they require in today’s competitive insurance market,” said Steve Grimshaw, CEO of Caliber.

Mark Sanders, chief operating officer of Caliber, said the company now operates 107 shop locations throughout California, Texas, Nevada and Arizona.
