Dec. 4, 2013—PartsTrader this week announced the monthly subscription fees that parts suppliers will be charged in order to receive and process orders through State Farm Insurance’s electronic parts procurement initiative.
According to PartsTrader’s pricing bulletin, the supplier subscription fees will be rolled out incrementally throughout 2014. The fees will be based on each supplier's monetary monthly order volume using the following tiered structure:
- $0–$2,000 monthly order volume: $19 monthly subscription fee
- $2,000.01–$6,000 monthly order volume: $39 monthly subscription fee
- $6,000.01–$12,000 monthly order volume: $99 monthly subscription fee
- More than $12,000 monthly order volume: $199 monthly subscription fee
PartsTrader said that parts suppliers with a delivery radius of more than 200 miles could be subject to a “customized pricing program.” In addition, suppliers that only sell parts to their wholly owned collision repair facilities will be charged the lowest monthly subscription rate.
According to the company’s pricing bulletin, the supplier subscription fees will take effect Feb. 1 in four U.S. states, and the fee structure will be applied in additional markets on a monthly basis throughout the year. The subscription fees will take effect across the country using the following timeline:
