Boyd Group appoints new CEO as founder steps down

Boyd Group Income Fund has appointed Brock Bulbuck president and CEO. Bulbuck takes over from founder Terry Smith, who will serve as executive chairman of the collision repair center operator.

Bulbuck had been chief operating officer for Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Boyd Group for 16 years. Before joining Boyd Group in 1993, Bulbuck previously held an executive management position with a Winnipeg-based management holding company. Bulbuck holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Manitoba.

Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Boyd Group Income Fund is a mutual fund trust created for acquiring and holding investments, including a majority interest in The Boyd Group Inc. and its subsidiaries.

The Boyd Group Inc. is an operator of collision repair centers in Canada and North America. The company operates locations in the four western Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, and has locations in seven U.S. states under the name Gerber Collision & Glass. The company also operates an auto glass repair and replacement business, Gerber National Glass Services.
