April 18, 2012—Caliber Collision Centers on Tuesday donated a refurbished 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe to a family in need through the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) 2012 Recycled Rides program.
The vehicle marks Caliber’s sixth Recycled Rides donation this year. The company plans to gift more than 12 vehicles through the program throughout 2012.
The vehicle, which was supplied by Allstate Insurance Co., was donated to Yvette Coteat. She is a single mother of four children who recently transitioned from living in emergency shelters to living independently, Caliber said.
“Giving back to our local communities is an important part of our mission,” said Frank Schubert, an exclusive agency owner for Allstate. “We are honored to partner with Caliber Collision in celebrating Ms. Coteat’s accomplishments and efforts to make a better life for herself and her children.”
The Coteat family was nominated to receive the donation by Family Promise in Phoenix, an organization that provides various services to homeless families to help them become independent and sustainable, according to Caliber.
“Our goal at Caliber Collision is to restore our customers to the rhythm of their lives, and we hope this gift of reliable transportation enables Ms. Coteat to continue her remarkable journey in restoring a stable lifestyle for her family,” said Michael Quinn, vice president of community and industry relations for Caliber.
