April 3, 2012

April 3, 2012—Caliber Collision Centers recently acquired Crown Auto Body in Ventura, Calif., near Los Angeles.

The 20,000-square-foot shop, now called Caliber Ventura, is the company’s 8th new collision repair facility opened in 2012. Caliber now operates 16 locations within the Los Angeles market.

“Our Ventura opening creates additional Los Angeles area capacity as we provide our insurance clients the customer focus, operational consistency and cost management they require in today’s competitive insurance market,” said Steve Grimshaw, CEO of Caliber.

“Our new Ventura center provides another example of our continued expansion in 2012 as we continue to grow into the collision repair provider of choice across California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas,” said Mark Sanders, chief operating officer for Caliber.

With the latest acquisition, Caliber now operates 102 collision repair facilities throughout California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. For more information, visit
