March 16, 2011

March 16, 2011 — Data privacy is the next discussion topic for the Collision Repair Executive Webcast (CREW) scheduled for March 24 at 11 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

A panel of industry experts will discuss data collection, protection and distribution as it relates to shops and customers, according to a recent CREW press release_notes. Panelists include consumer representative Erica Eversman, of Vehicle Information Services; repairer Tony Passwater, of AEII; business-to-business representative Doug Kelly, of CynCast; and Nancy Fiorino, of CARFAX, who specializes in vehicle history data and transparency.

CREW is meant to provide collision repair professionals, property and casualty insurance personnel, parts suppliers and other industry partners with topical, high-level information, according to the press release. Presentations are Web-based and accompanied by a simultaneous audio conference call, which allows participants to ask questions.

Erick Bickett of Fix Auto, Matthew Ohrnstein of Symphony Advisors and Vincent Romans of The Romans Group produce and present the semi-monthly webcasts, which run for one hour each.

Reservations are required and limited spots are available. To register, contact Liz Stein at 714.279.2027 or e-mail [email protected].
