ASA swears in new board

May 16, 2011 — The Automotive Service Association’s (ASA) 2011-2012 board of directors was sworn in this month at the organization’s annual business meeting in Washington, D.C.

Officers include Ron Nagy, Nagy’s Collision Centers, as chairman; Darrell Amberson, Lehman’s Garage, chairman-elect, and Diane Rodenhouse, Rodenhouse Body Shop Inc., as secretary/treasurer. General directors are Gary Keyes of E&M Motors Inc.; Donny Seyfer of Seyfer Automotive Inc., and Bob Wills of Wills Auto Service.

Affiliate directors are Joel Baxter of B&B Auto and Truck Repair; Mark Gurnsey of Accountable Auto Care Inc., and Roy Schnepper of Butler’s Collision Inc. Dan Stander of Jerry Stander’s Collision Works and Bill Moss of Ferris Automotive Inc. serve as the board’s collision and mechanical division directors respectively.

Ron Pyle, ASA’s president and chief staff executive, serves in an ex-officio capacity. The board’s executive committee is comprised of Nagy, Amberson, Rodenhouse, Burns, Wills and Pyle.

The ASA is the largest nonprofit trade association of its kind dedicated to and governed by independent automotive service and repair professionals. The ASA is the main sponsor of Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW), which includes NACE and CARS. ASRW is set for Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
