Oct. 25, 2013—The Indiana Auto Body Association (IABA) has organized a petition against insurer-mandated parts procurement systems that was sent in an email blast to industry members on Thursday. Once completed, the IABA says it will deliver the signed petition to state and federal attorney generals, legislators and the Federal Trade Commission.
IABA stated in its email that such programs “change our well established business relationships, place the vehicle owners in jeopardy, and interfere with the free market system.”
