Jan. 30, 2013—Ikotec announced today that it will hold a silent auction at this year’s NORTHEAST 2013 Automotive Services Show in support of the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund.
The item up for auction is a new IKOTEC 1000, a portable air-over hydraulic scissor wheel lift that weighs approximately 140 pounds and easily locks in place.
“Hurricane Sandy is still on everybody’s mind,” said Ikotec representative Conrad Egerter. “There are still people having a hard time; there are still some shops that are still not up and running. That’s how this auction came to be.”
The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey’s annual NORTHEAST 2013 event will take place March 8-10 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center of Secaucus, N.J.
