Aug. 20, 2014—Carubba Collision Corp. awarded scholarships to two Buffalo, N.Y., high school graduates, the company announced recently.
The two students, Terrell Johnson and Saw Mey, were both part of their respective school’s Upward Bound program—a program aimed at encouraging scholarship for low income, first generation, college-bound students.
“These young students who have achieved so much in high school deserve every opportunity to be successful in their college careers and in life,” stated Joe Carubba, Carubba Collision Corp. president. “I am honored to help out with these scholarships” Carubba added.
Carubba presented the scholarships at the Upward Bound Awards banquet held at the State University of New York college in Buffalo.
“Joe Carubba and Carubba Collision Corp. have made such a difference in our community because of their continual support and generosity” said Don Patterson, Upward Bound program director.
