Chip Foose Takes Home Top Honors at NACE

Aug. 7, 2015—Chip Foose received the award for top custom car at the 2015 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference. The winning car was Foose’s restyled 1965 Chevy Impala, “Imposter.”

The award was presented to Foose and members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team during this year’s NACE in Detroit. The “Imposter” features custom paint from BASF’s Glasurit 90-Line in Impostor Pearl Dark and Impostor Pearl Light.

The 1965 Chevy Impala also won the 2015 Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama in March.
