Ohio Shop Raises Money for Children’s Hospital

Aug. 4, 2015—D&S Automotive in Mentor, Ohio, raised $5,000 for Cleveland’s UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital through D&S Automotive’s third annual Cruise-In for Rainbow event on July 30.

The event raised money through donations from attendees and featured classic vehicles lining the lot of the shop. Refreshments were available throughout the day and a 50/50 raffle helped raise donations for UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.

The event raised $2,135 in donations, which will be matched by Carmen Paterniti, D&S Automotive company president.

Paterniti has been a supporter of the UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital since the hospital provided long-term care to his newborn daughter.
