July 12, 2016—CARSTAR announced Monday that it has reached a milestone with the opening of its 250th store in Canada, CARSTAR Digby in Digby, Nova Scotia.
“This really is a great occasion for the company.” CARSTAR North America president Michael Macaluso said. “We began franchising in Canada over 20 years ago and since our first day in 1994 have been focused on providing consistent service and integrity across all locations; we owe our success to this philosophy.
“In the last 18 months, we have grown from 180 to 250 locations serving the Canadian collision market which is quite remarkable. Today we are proud to provide our insurance partners and driving customers with a much more expansive service area from coast to coast.”
CARSTAR’s goal over the next three years is to increase franchise partner profitability and continue to grow their network of stores. CARSTAR aims to have 262 Canadian locations by the end of 2016. Macaluso expects more than 500 North American CARSTAR locations by mid-summer 2016. Reaching that goal would position CARSTAR as North America’s largest network of collision centers.
