CARSTAR to Open Georgia Facility

May 18, 2016

May 18, 2016—CARSTAR announced Tuesday that it will celebrate a new 23,000-square-foot facility in Macon, Ga., with a grand opening event on Friday.

Formerly known as CARSTAR Preferred Collision, the new CARSTAR Macon relocated from an 8,500-square-foot facility.

“It’s a very well-built facility,” said Walter Lee, owner of CARSTAR Macon.  “It allows us to do much more than what we could in our old building.  The new location allows us to add more customer friendly features, room for insurance companies to work with both us and our customers, and the square footage to grow and modernize our collision repair space.”

The event will include lunch and prizes as well as the presentation of a refurbished 2003 Honda CRV to a deserving student from Central Georgia Technical College. The CGTC Foundation facilitated the car’s donation.
