Nov. 9, 2015—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) elected a new executive board for the 2015-2017 term during its annual meeting on Oct. 28.
Jeff McDowell will return for this third term as president, and Keith Krehel, mechanical chairman, was re-elected for his second term. Secretary Thomas Greco and Treasurer Tom Elder were reinstated in their positions, as well, and board member Jerry McNee was elected as the association’s new collision chairman.
The remaining directors’ terms will run through 2016 and 2017.
McDowell was thrilled to have McNee joining the executive board.
“Jerry has always been an integral part of what we do,” McDowell said. “He comes to every meeting fully prepared with valuable input and ideas. He contributes to our discussions and comes up with possible solutions to the dilemmas we face in our day-to-day business. He’s been invaluable to the Board so far, and we’re all really looking forward to seeing what he can do in his new role.”
“I see AASP/NJ accomplishing a lot of great things over the next two years,” McNee said. “We are at a crucial time in our industry and the association has to lead and educate. I’m ready to do my part.”
