Recycled Ride Presented to Domestic Violence Survivor

Oct. 30, 2015

Oct. 30, 2015—Service King Collision Repair Centers donated a refurbished 2011 Hyundai Sonata to a domestic violence survivor and her child on Monday.

The vehicle donation was made through Service King’s continued partnership in the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides program. The donation took place during Service King’s annual Charity Golf Event in Nashville, Tenn., which helped raise funds for Bridges Domestic Violence Center.

"Bridges is so grateful to Service King and all of its partners for making this donation possible," said Linda Jackson, Bridges Domestic Violence Center executive director. "Having a car will give this client and her child the opportunity to start their lives over and break the cycle of violence."

MetLife purchased the donated vehicle and teammates from Service King’s Mt. Juliet location donated their time to make the necessary repairs and restorations. Hubcab Heaven, Downtown Nashville Hyundai and Elite Electronics also provided assistance and parts to the restoration process.
