Service King Acquires Seven-Shop Marco’s Collision

Sept. 23, 2014

Sept. 23, 2014—Service King Collision Repair Centers announced on Monday that it has acquired Marco’s Collision Centers, a seven-facility multi-shop operation in Southern California.

Marco’s Collision, founded by Marco Maimone in 1972, currently processes more than 800 vehicles per month across its locations.

"Service King chose us because of our people and strong infrastructure," said Marco’s CEO Lillian Maimone. "I chose them because of who they are: a company of integrity that cares about their employees. I'm proud that my employees are in a safe home with people that care and can afford them opportunities I could never have given them."

With the acquisition, Service King will now operate 12 locations in California with future growth planned for later this year.

"The acquisition of these seven Southern California locations supports our strategic growth plan to expand our footprint in underserved markets," said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. "The Marco's Collision Centers' team has a long history of delivering impressive results, and we are proud to welcome them to the Service King family.”
