Bosch, a leading global supplier of top quality parts, systems and diagnostic solutions to Domestic, Asian and European original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the independent aftermarket, will have a major presence at Industry Week in Las Vegas, this year. Industry Week is slated for November 3-6, 2015.
Exhibiting at booth #5041 at the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX) and at booth #16007 at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association Show (SEMA), Bosch Automotive Aftermarket and Automotive Service Solutions will showcase the complete Bosch Parts, Bytes and Services solutions concept for today’s aftermarket. Having a presence at both shows allows all automotive service professionals – technicians, jobbers, distributors, retailers, salespeople and counterpersons – to discover the best Bosch solutions for them.
The highlight of the AAPEX booth will be complete solutions for the most rapidly growing automotive technologies such as gasoline direct injection (GDI) and diesel common rail. The display will showcase the complete suite of Bosch Parts, Bytes and Services for these technologies. Also on display will be the latest offerings from such key Bosch product categories as wiper blades, spark plugs, rotating electric, braking and batteries. In addition, visitors will have a chance to win prizes at an interactive quiz station.
Visitors to the AAPEX and SEMA booths can also enter the Bosch American Muscle Giveaway for a chance to win one of two 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcats which will be awarded via a random drawing. One of these vehicles will be on display at the Hotchkis booth at SEMA (#21261). Entries can be submitted until Dec. 31, 2015. For complete information, visit WinWithBosch.com.
At the Bosch booth at SEMA, techs can compete in the OTC Technician Challenge – a nationwide competition to find the best diagnostic technician. On display at the booth will be new tools and equipment from trusted brands Bosch, OTC, Robinair and Actron, resembling a technician’s dream garage. Among them will be new power body tools from OTC, North America’s most efficient A/C recovery machine from Robinair, and a new line of DIY scan tools from Actron.
SEMA visitors can also see a demo of Bosch ESI[truck], the aftermarket’s most complete heavy-duty diagnostics tool. ESI[truck] boasts most makes/all models engine, transmission and module coverage for HD trucks including PACCAR, Volvo and Cummins. Bosch is adding ESI[repair] to the tool in 2016, featuring more than 13,000 confirmed fixes, and will continue to strengthen the tool’s coverage, bi-directional tests, special tests and parameter reset capabilities.
“The two exhibitions provide us with an unparalleled opportunity to reach our partners and talk directly with them about the value that the Bosch brand brings to the aftermarket and to their business,” said Odd Joergenrud, regional president North America, Robert Bosch LLC, Automotive Aftermarket. “We will have key personnel on site to answer any question regarding individual Bosch products on a one-on-one basis, and to explain how Bosch can help make automotive professionals more productive and profitable in their businesses.”
On Thursday, November 5, Bosch will also be hosting members of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (the Alliance) “Aftermarket Jackpot” 2015 National Convention. Approximately 300 of the 4,000 Alliance technicians and jobbers attending the convention will have the opportunity to experience the award-winning Bosch augmented reality training platform at the Bosch AAPEX booth.
