Service King's Training Program Welcomes 42 Apprentices

Service King’s Apprentice Development Program, which recently became the first collision repair program to be certified by the Department of Labor, welcomed 42 new auto body repair technicians.

Jan. 26, 2018—Service King’s Apprentice Development Program, which recently became the first collision repair program to be certified by the Department of Labor (DOL), welcomed 42 new auto body repair technicians.

The 2018 class features apprentices from Texas, Washington, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Illinois.   

“The entire Service King family is thrilled to welcome the latest class of apprentice technicians,” said Tyra Bremer, Service King vice president of talent development. “It is exciting to witness our apprenticeship program continue to grow and provide immersive training opportunities to aspiring technicians from across the country. We look forward to equipping and training each of the 42 technicians who joined our family this week to prosper in the next chapter of their careers.”

The Apprentice Development Program officially launched in 2015 and has graduated more than 125 certified auto body technicians into its workforce.
